Fame in the Family

My cousin Zoe is an artist. Her work is really wonderful - I always enjoy checking out her website to see what she's been working on, and I love hearing about her shows and successes. (Incidentally, her fiance Adrian is also an artist, and they have even done some work together, painting murals in Mexico. They are awesome people.)

This month, Zoe has a show of some of her pieces in the Winter Park Public Library (titled Reflections in Symmetry), and tonight, we had the honor of attending her artist's reception. It isn't often that we get to see her art in person, and I'm happy to report that it is even more stunning up close.

If you happen to be in the mood for a trip to the library, I recommend a visit to Winter Park. And in case you don't make it there, check out Zoe's website. I'm so glad she's bringing such fame to our family! :)

Oh yeah, and if you're flush with extra funds earmarked for original art, you know what to do. Support Starving Spiliotises.

wow...the second Zander I know of. Most are Xander!

Are you going to the movie today? I soooo hope that you can make it. I feel bad cause I forgot to call Jenny back and let her know about lunch, but we are going to meet for lunch before the movie. Wanna come to that too? (I know, give me an inch and I take a mile.)

Oh, and totally off topic- are you going to the Care to Crop event next month? I still don't have a seat buddy, so if you want to come, just let me know and I will make sure that we are sitting together. (Mom isn't coming and neither is Jenny.) : (

Hope the court stuff went okay today. I was going to call tonight and for some reason, once it hits 5pm, I can't seem to accomplish anything at all other than dinner. (Which I consider a success, actually. But I don't get much else done.)

I'm glad to see you're alive and well. I thought you fell off the planet since we haven't heard from you guys. I would email you with an update of the stuff I've emailed you, but I know you probably won't get it. I'll just wait until I see you. And if you feel like blogging, CFGG got noticed by Orlando Leisure Magazine and they're doing a little write up on us in the next issue!!!! :) Hands on Homeschooling is going well too in case there's anything you want to review.

Well, glad to hear things are okay. I figured I'd check your blog since you've been updating that frequently. We've had some news in our family..if you get to go out this week, I can update you then. Hope your weekend is wonderful!
